Penn State DuBois freshman softball player Natalie Bowser has been named the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) softball hitter of the week for week two of the season. Bowser had an outstanding week at the plate for the Lady Lions last week.
The baseball and softball teams at Penn State DuBois both had a busy week of action last week, including the home opener for the Nittany Lions and Lady Lions. With the spring season now in full swing, games are coming fast and frequent for both teams.
Numerous members of the faculty and staff at Penn State DuBois were recently honored for their dedication to the campus during the annual length of service luncheon. A total of 17 faculty and staff members were recognized for reaching one of the five-year increment milestones as part of the campus community.

Excitement and drama once again filled Hiller Auditorium at Penn State DuBois for the 34th annual Senior Scholastic Challenge. Students from six high schools in the region came to the campus to test their knowledge against other students and to see which school would take the top spot at the end of the evening.
The spirit of Penn State DuBois will come alive with the highly anticipated We Are Weekend, an inaugural homecoming weekend set to take place on Friday, April 5, and Saturday, April 6. The weekend promises a jam-packed schedule of activities and festivities for students, alumni and the local community.
The Penn State DuBois Office of Student Engagement will welcome students and members of the public to Hiller Auditorium on Tuesday, March 26, when multi-award winning performer Wayne Hoffman will come to Penn State DuBois.
For sports teams, there is a saying that only one team gets to finish a season with a win, the team that wins the championship. After a season of ups and downs, highs and lows, both the men’s and women’s basketball teams at Penn State DuBois can be proud. While they didn’t finish the season with a win, both teams had seasons to be remembered.
